Here we go!

Well, here we go. This is my first blog ever. I never thought I would do anything like blogging, or twitter, but since my brother-in-law was here this past weekend, this “new world” intrigued me. So here we go. I can’t promise I will post often, or what I’ll post about, or even if this will continue, but after reading some blogs of those I respect… let’s see what happens!

I guess I will give you a little background of myself and my family. I just got married 3 months and 4 days ago! When we met, I thought she was out of my league - guess I was wrong! Gladly so… I love my wife so much and what she is in my life. I would have to say that she has the heart and a love that endures all things (including me), which I hope to one day have!

It’s really crazy that my wife and I met on a mission trip down in Bayou La Batre, AL. Three years ago, I would have never guessed I would have been on a mission field, mainly because I wasn’t a dedicated Christian. I knew of God, had Him in my thoughts, but was not in a relationship with Him. When I began a relationship with God and called him my Lord and Savior, my life ever since then has changed and has been absolutely amazing! I’m not saying anything has been perfect, but I have had a greater sense of who I am, and especially who God wants me to be!

My journey through life has been challenging, but I wouldn’t change a thing. My life has made me who I am today. Now that I have someone to share that journey with, is such a blessing. I hope that I will be able to share with you some of the thoughts I have about the church, books I’ve read, movies I’ve seen and even a little bit about my job!
