“Bank of America Protesters yesterday in the early evening… They were protesting the “corporate pigs” in business and stating that people should know their rights better, or something like that”
So what are you protesting in your life? What is it that you need to show people you are passionate about? Or even, what do you need to stop protesting in your life?
Obviously there is something about what Bank of America is doing that made them angry enough to protest. Is that the only time we are protesting something? My brother-in-law (you can follow his blog at http://robertblas.tumblr.com/) , made a great point this past weekend, “Instead of complaining, start doing.” What are we doing to overcome the things we disagree with? It seems as though we only really voice our opinion when we are discontent, but what are we doing about it?
Have we thought about not protesting when we are discontent and maybe just start doing? Or even start protesting for things we do agree with? What I am saying is, why aren’t we out there helping people with their walk with God and protesting for/sharing with/contributing to (whatever you want to call it) people’s relationship with God? It seems as though we aren’t worried about the right things these days. Do people know that we are Christians and know what we stand for and believe in? If not, maybe we need to stop protesting for the wrong things and start doing the right things…
